Umm... I don't get it. Are you saying Richardson was better than Sakic? The reason its such a big deal is because the Leafs scouts and management did want Sakic but Harold Ballard vetoed it and demanded they draft a defenseman. What's no to get about this? Pretty different to all other missed opportunities in drafts.
