It doesn't really matter to me much but there's a chance but I would think (as Anom said) Crosby, Thornton and Savard probably have a better shot. Kane will probably get a s***load too this year.

I think Savard is a great coach. I think guys like Bowman and Quenneville should help him a lot. If they fail, he could be in trouble but I just don't think that'll happen.

Let's keep things in perspective with Helm. He was great in the playoffs for us. But it was playing 5 or so minutes with no responsibilities and the opposition's worst defense. It's not like he's ready to carry the team on his shoulders. He's far from a proven commodity. Let him develop.

Yeah for sure. But I'm pretty sure Brian Burke has an idea of how the CBA works. Also the Stanley Cup, the job, the pay packet, the contacts, the hockey knowledge, the playing experience, the management experience and the business acumen also kinda help his cause against ya. Lol. Waking up yet?
