i go in there from windsor all the time my suggestion would be to make a right turn, after the tunnel onto jefferson take a right on beaubian on your left hand side will be a parking garage that is only 6$, compared to the $15 they charge at the Joe you would then cross the street to the RenCen and take the people mover (50cents) right to joe louis arena this would be the most cost effective way ps, try to get there around 6ish to be there in time for the ceremonies and everything also, free mini banner giveaway! have a great time, ill be there too

I think that this will be a great deal for Anaheim. Perry's gonna be one of the tops in the next few yrs (if not already), 5mill is a great deal to my standards. He led Ana in goals last season. Kenny would have jumped on a deal like this.

I am never the type to complan about this kind of stuff. The way I see it, bad calls go both equally for the most part. But last night was a rare exception. In all honesty, that was some of the worst officiating I have ever seen at a professional level. This speaks millions when you are considering this is a Stanley Cup Finals matchup, and billions when you consider this is a potential Stanley Cup deciding game. I'm not saying that the refs blew the game for the Wings. There are plenty to point fingers at for last night's loss; no one deserves all the blame. All I am saying is that if the game was officiated better the output would be different, and in my opinion, in Detroit's favour.

10-15 thou is a good enough turnout for me I'll more than likely go I would imagine it's more of enjoying the atmosphere and that is the main reason I'm going. I figure if I can't see it live in front of me I still have the whole crowd behind me cheering them on as loud as I will be.

After witnessing last night's loss first hand and have my opportunity of seeing the cup won live at home in OT, this is the next best thing I can think of. Or am I just hyping this up more than it should be?

I wouldn't go that far yet. While I've said my fair share of things about Lilja in the past, I think he can still pick up on some great things while being in Detroit. He wouldn't be here if someone didn't see something good in him.

Lilja played bad. Stuart played bad. Can we afford to pull them both out of the lineup? No. Collectively, the team had some bad moments. But hey, at least it happened when we had a series lead. And look at the bright side of inconsistencies. They just might as well come out swinging next game and absolutely annihilate the birds. The point is, the team had its share of downs in the game and that's what cost them the win. I have full faith in Babs to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
