ZOMG, Flip is paid a lil above what he deserves, based upon this year's performance. But, after we lose a forward this year, he'll be underpaid.

You realize seeding is determined by how you played in the regular season, right? So, we've won the Cup when we were only playing the third best hockey in our conference. CONFERENCE. We don't need to separate ourselves from anything. We just need to get back to playing Red Wings hockey. Stop worrying about how we stack up against the others and worry about how *WE* are doing. Chances are, if we were doing the exact same as we are right now, but had a 8 point Prez Trophy lead, you'd be relatively quiet. Instead, you are another few losses away from ZOMG WORST TEAM EVER!!!!

You do realize we don't need a President's Trophy to win the Cup, right? Chicago is way behind us, even with this slump, so 4th seed isn't really going to happen anytime soon. No he didn't. Respect should be shown where respect has been earned. The Illitch family has earned tons of it. He's not like a player, who cashes the check to play... he writes the damn thing. He has spent the money to get what we all enjoy now. He brought dignity back to the Wings, and Detroit sports in general, and did so because he loves Detroit and sports.

Ok, this "we just won the Cup, we have no drive" is BS. When we won the Cup last year, how many players hoisted their fourth frigging Cup? This "Drake drove us because he wanted a Cup" is BS. Hossa BY FAR has more ability to take over a game and just win it, and he wants a Cup hella bad. Does the D need to get better? Yes. Does the goalie suckage need to stop? Yes. Is the PK pathetic at times? Yes. But we can do this. We have too much veteran leadership here. Babcock is too good.
