While this is true, they get suspended without pay, not 5 minuets in the sin-bin and then return to the game. Apples and oranges.

As long as Lids wants to play, we will sign him, for whatever he wants to make. I think he'll start taking 1 year contracts for a slightly reduced amount, $5-6m, going down a little each year. But Lids will *NEVER* wear another NHL franchise's sweater. This is a fact. Also, can I see the stone where it says Hossa will not return? I know it would be difficult, but it seems to me as likely as him coming here in the first place, and well... he's here.

This. A million times, this. He was signed to second line money, but then we got Hossa so he slide down. Not his fault, and Kenny knows it. Besides, based upon how much we ***** about him and his contract, is it reasonable to assume other teams are lined up to eat said contract?

Not really. You tried to establish a relationship between SJ's physical play and them winning. But, their physical play didn't generate 6 goals. The last two were generated by speed (and poor Detroit D). So, the Wings played poor defense and they lost. See? That one is right.

I shouldn't have to state it. Dats stands up for himself. Rafs got into it last night. Hossa has attitude. Huds doesn't back down. Zets gets physical. Face it- you want fights. That's fine, but it's not stopping us from winning, nor is it the reason we lost ONE GAME.
