Dude, all Detroit centers need to score at least 30 goals and 80 points per season. It's, like, the rules. In 2 years, when Fil's contract looks like the steal Kronner's was, I want a lot fo people to apologize publicly.

Haven't watched much Wings, huh? ZDH gets minimal time together, Conks is #1 because Ozzie has a groin issue, and the offense still looks good. -

Regarding point 4, Huds has been in the 3 slot before with Hossa as the 4. -
A lot of the players you are wanting to send down are on 1 way contracts and would have to clear waivers. Ozzie or Conklin wouldn't. Flip wouldn't either. Don't get me wrong, I would liek to see Helm and/or Leino come up, but...

Hence the word "potential". And frankly, they do have the potential. I doubt they will turn into a dynasty, but they could. They have a lot of young talent.

I said we are having defensive issues. But you said how OFFENSE was an issue. Which it isn't. You also said all of our wins except the 6-0 vs the Sharks were one goal games. Again, not true. We beat the oilers 4-0 and the Flames 5-2. There are other games with 2 goals wins, but some of those are empty net goals. -

Your premise that we are scoring less is fundamentally flawed. We have 128 goals. Boston leads the league in scoring with... 130. We are second in the league in scoring. Now, divide 128 by 35. You get 3.65. That is scientifically referred to a "s***load" of goals, and at least more than a half a goal more than your " two point something goals a game". Our defensive problems have little to do with McClellan leaving- he did the powerplay. I would look at McCrimmon. -

Well, I am knocking them back... Fil is overpaid right now, no doubt. But with Hossa, Sammy, and Huds being FA after this year (and I ignoring Z and Freanzen... LA LA LA LA LA, I can't hear you...) we are gonna need someone to step up next year. -

No? Lebda is a two way contract? I really don't know, but I would have thought if he was, he would have went down earlier, back when he got benched for a few games. So you want to move Lebda for a player who is cheap (relatively), signed long term, and would be our best PKer? I'm all for it, but this isn't NHL 09. As for Fil, he was signed to that deal based upon POTENTIAL. Holland could be wrong, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. -
