The reason Feds left will one of the most recurring debates here for the nest few decades. I'm not even going to go there. Shanny left because he was too old for the system, the Wings had started a youth movement, and NY was a better career move (as he wants to work for the keague upon retirement). He was offered the same contract by Holland as he signed with Sather.

Quick Question about NHL Center Ice Package...

I am a Wings fan outside of Detroit with Center Ice. I have never missed a game. Most are on FSN Detroit, some are on FSN whatever area we are playing, a few are on Vs, and at the end of the year, Saturday games *may* be on NBC. I have never missed a game. If you have Center Ice and Vs, you are good for 82 games of goodness. Plus at least 16 playoff games. -
Maybe it's just me, but with the top 3 lines we have this year, Bozo the friggin' Clown could be centering the fourth line, and I'll still be watching every damn game with a chubster.
