Huh? No one is hating on Ozzie. Most of us love him, and as he was not a Wing in 2002, is irrelevant to this debate. What we are doing is stopping the Hasek-hating. He was incredible in the 2002 playoffs. He gave a shutout every damn time we were facing elimination. And your non-deadline deal... double-huh? Please tell me you were being sarcastic. -

You seem to have forgotten that down to the Avs 3-2, he pitched back-to-back shut outs. The first was epic, and the second was epic as well, but not for the defense! -
Yes. As far as non-playing positions- Lids has a job, whatever one he wants (for the most part) with the Wings for life. Drapes will work for us, and maybe Malts. Dunno if Ozzie of goalie coach material or not. He may be.

If it was just frustration at the dealine... sure. But he was up Holland's ass for quite awhile before that, and stayed firmly planted there for quite awhile. IIRC, he even wished an early playoff defeat upon us. And now Holland is god? Whatever.

I just got done watching NHL Network's 10 Best Lemieux goals of all-time. Val's goal was sick, but there were at least 6 of 66's that were sicker. Dude scored off of a face-off... and he called before the game that he would. Nasty.
