Here's what has already happened. Holland wrote up a standard contract with the years and the salary blank. He handed it to Lidstrom. Lidstrom will talk to his family and get it back to him shortly. The end. And for the few here who are saying he's pasted his prime... how many consecutive Norris' will it take to prove otherwise? He does look the same as he did 7 years ago because the game is not the same. He can't cover things up with the occasional clutch n' grab. He's the greatest blue liner we've ever had, and probably ever will have.

Don't do it- read the fine print. If you buy the FSN package, they will still block out ALL programming that is sold in another package, like Center Ice or whatever they call their NBA package. You won't get games, only the other stuff. That said, I have had a excellent time with DirecTv and Center Ice. Not sure what the complaints about the NHLN are... I haven't lost a game to it- usually they show the Detroit feed so after i switch the channel, it's all good, and I love the old games shown in their entireity.
