Sorry for bringing up old news, but I just hate how the refs on the ice have unquestionable authority at times. They can't always see exactly what happened on the ice - that's what instant replay is for! Why do we even have it if the refs are just going to rely on their 'gut feelings' and never use it? Sure we had enough time to get it back after both non-goal calls, but I agree with the posters who said that the non-goal calls take away a lot more than a tally on the scoresheet. It's not like air hockey where it's either just a goal or it's not, the momentum, the penalties, the players' attitudes, the arena atmosphere, other factors and etc. could have been very differently affected. That being said, Dallas did play hungry last night. No worries, we'll finish 'em off at the Joe on Saturday.

Well in a more-than-you-wanted-to-know nutshell, I nixed an idea of hers, and am now apologizing my hindquarters off and insisting that it is a good idea, but now she claims she never really wanted to do it in the first place :nonono: You know that tone too, that 'siiiiigh nooo really, it's fine, let's not do that' *guilt, more guilt, and disappoint rains down* kind of tone... So now I am doggedly trying to convince her to do what she wanted to do in the first place lol. Just get over it and let's do it, ya know? It is such a not big deal it's almost laughable. Does anyone else ever have this problem? Meanwhile, this extra credit paper isn't going to write itself...yet I keep hoping lol.

QFT Wings don't fail me today as;fdkjdkjfa;dsj I am FINALLY done with that group project from hell but it turned out amazing. Our group had 4 girls, all dressed in black skirts/slacks and white tops, and our powerpoint presentation kicked every other group's ass! I went to his office after class to drop off the powerpoint printouts and he said that our presentation was one of the top 2 or 3 he had ever seen. So, yeah, I have a good feeling about this one lol.
