Awesome start to the new year, congrats to Downey on his first point as a Wing and to Drake on his first goal as a second time Wing. Loved Ozzie's game, especially the diving save to stop the weird bounce off the side boards. He deserved the shutout, but what can he do with Ken and Mickey talking about shutouts during a game? Also loved the postgame interview where Ozzie said all of The Nickage's accomplishments are getting boring

well I had a lovely bout of food poisoning on sunday, just today finally did not feel like a semi ran over me, backed up, and ran over me again. the worst part was the lost appetite - all that Christmas candy and New Year's food and I didn't want any of it

Nice GDT aflac! If the Wings aren't to weighted down with Christmas food, I'm thinking they'll finally assert themselves in this division game. I finally buckled down and wrapped gifts! The worst-looking one is a candle - I was trying to wrap it all cool and cylindrical, but it ended up as a ball of paper and tape so I tried to fix it with pretty ribbons

Don't underestimate The Professor, recall he threw down against Forsberg that fateful March 26 ten years ago Homer missed a few games with a sore knee already, does anyone know if he hyperextended the same knee? If so, that would really suck for Homer. Get well soon! Oh and yay Downey!
