It didn't look like Franzen really made contact with the head. Maybe just a bad angle, but I think grabbing his eye and falling to the ice was a bit over the top.

I flipped to the Incredibles during intermission. Don't want to watch the Blackhawks slobberfest that is forthcoming.

WOW I love this team! The end of the third period was gorgeous katie-bar-the-door style hockey! Did the Blackhawks even register a shot in the last 5 minutes? I got my wish - we broke their PK streak. Miller has been a beast ever since his broken hand miraculously healed. I forgot how much energy and heart he brings every night.

My favorite part of this video is the overhead views where Homer looks down at his own feet and is beyond confused why the call is happening when there is white showing between his skates and the blue paint. Second favorite thing is Babcock's "I'm laughing because I want to murder your soul" face. The Joe was amazing last night! Hoarse voice this morning was totally worth it. I was happy while watching the replays that you could hear us so well, especially after Miller's goal when Quenneville had to yell to be heard over our revelry. While we were leaving after the final horn, a massive "Let's Go Red Wings!" chant morphed into "We Want The Cup!" Even some of the vendors joined in and were pounding on their countertops. Absolutely electric!

I will be at this game. I've got cough drops so I can keep cheering long after my voice gives out. LGW!

It was crazy loud; especially in the third, everyone was just screaming. When all of the sections got the "let's go Red Wings" chant lined up, it was so awesome it gave me chills. Glad to hear that came across on tv.

I will be there in my trusty Holmstrom jersey. I plan on being loud enough to lose my voice tonight, and possibly some hearing if my fellow fans join me in said plan. No score predictions, just Datsyukian dekes for days. Go Wings!
