Hey, now. I think the Hawks, if built correctly, could give Detroit a run for their money. But I don't think the oh so venerable King Tallon (as the official boards seem to treat him) is the man to get the Blackhawks there. Until then, Blackhawks fans don't have s*** on Detroit fans.

Detroit is choking in the playoffs. The new San Jose, who were the new Ottawa. Although from the looks of it, San Jose still possesses the crown.

I don't speak for all Hawks fans, but I have come to terms with Lang's supposed laziness. He's been in the league for 15 years, and you don't stay for that long while being lazy. He's fine, I have no problems with him. Geez, that Central Division thing is pretty bad for the Wings, isn't it?

Three s***ty to mediocre teams. Is it a case of the Red Wings playing down to their competition, the competition getting up for the games, a mismatch, or just a combination of the three?

I would like to see the Wings play the Preds mainly too see the Wings destroy the Preds. I just seem to be filled with a mild sort of abject hatred whenever I see the Blackhawks play Central Division opponents. And since, in the end, the Predators kind of suck this year, I want to see them suck in the worst way possible.
