Guys calm the F down. My god. We have them by the throat. Remember a couple years ago when we went down 3-1 to the sharks? Game 5 we beat their ass something like 5-1, then lost in 6. It is not surprising that we were due for a bit of a let down and they were due for a big game. Actually, I was hoping we'd lose badly. Sometimes your team needs a good reminder. We'll get them in 6. If we don't get game 6, then I'd be worried. But EVEN IF we lost in 7, which sucks, they have over achieved this year. Chicago should win, they have more talent. But just remember, we still have the upper hand. We'll get them on Monday. Stop being such fanatics.

I started off thinking that we were going down in 4 or 5 games. After seeing the wings come out and just man handle Chicago the way they did in game 2, I now think we are much more capable than I originally thought. Win or lose, if we play that way, I will be very proud of this team and will be looking soooo forward to next year. Winning game 3 can really put the Hawks on the ledge in my book. They haven't faced any adversity all year. So far this is the first real adversity, and putting them down in a series everybody (including me) thought they'd skate through (no pun intended), I'd love to see them squirm. GO WINGS! LOVE IT! Play hard, I can live with losing if it's our best effort. Chicago is the best, I can handle losing to the best.

That game was arguably better than game 7 in my view, becuase it was against a much better opponent, and we shut them down. That was amazing, night and day from game 1.

I think the Hawks will attempt too impose their will on us again in Game 3. Gotta be ready. It should be a really tight game 3...at least that's what I'm expecting. Great game. I am amazed at how much energy they had.

I said the same thing. Hopefully the wings wer ejust hung over from game 7 and they'll be faster. It looked all night like they had no legs.

Can't win when you tryin to pull a Montreal and play defense 98% of the game my God. Maybe CHI is just that good...hopefully we get it together Saturday.

how many times have we seen this, where we pepper a team all period with nothing to show for it, then lose? God I hope we are on the other side of that this time!

Well whoever went down to block the shot...don't know who that was then. Thought it was cleary. Either way, Howard should have made that save.

In my opinion, that's a goal Howard has to stop. Cleary took the ice away, so the shot was going up somewhere. Howard was out of position, and Fil blew the defensive coverage. Frustrating.

Y19, you guys get into chat!

This has to be the first time in a very long time that all games in a series have been on FSD. Usually NBC gets one and blacks it out on the local. Just going to try to relax and enjoy this game. Could be the last western conference matchup in a long time that we get to see. IF we lose, the only nice thing will be we are done watching 10pm starts unless we get to the SCF in the east. I'm staying up, it's worth dragging ass at work tomorrow for this one.

If this game goes into OT I'll throw up. I'm gonna just try to sit back and enjoy the game tonight, and not get too wrapped up either way. That's hard though. I had no expectations this year, just hoped they made the playoffs. So if we win, that's fantastic, if we lose, well, the young'ns got valuable experience and my expectations will go up for next year. But oh boy would that be wonderful to take on Chicago!

Since the Pens moved on yesterday they really should move this game up to their time slot. Of course they won't, but they should.
