What a dejecting feeling. All this talent and they can't muster more than 1 goal in a must win game. You have to give the preds all the credit. All night they were SOLID defensively. They didn't even need Rinne to stand on his head. Most of the shots he stopped were easy saves, and we couldn't bury rebounds. Very very frustrating. Howard isn't the problem, we can't score more than 1 goal or 2 goals a game. It's ridiculous. I'm frustrated with the complete defensive breakdown on that game winner, where 3 players went for Kline INCLUDING howard. Howard looked stupid on that play. But whatever. I'm tired of hearing the wings 'try to stay positive'. WIN THE DAMN GAME, stop talking! Whatever. We need some size and we need SPEED. We have all the talent in the world, but we're too slow and the punishment in the playoffs wears us down. So frustrating

Yeah say what you want about Cleary, he's selling out to be able to play...and does look better than he did. Love to see him get a goal..

YOu know they said earlier on TV that we had only scored 9 goals in the last regular season games. Well most of those games were against playoff teams, a lot of which were fighting for position. So, that was a measuring bar in my view, as to how good we really are. And it maybe appears nobody is far and away better than anyone else...which makes for boring hockey in my opinion, because of the muck it up style.

See why do you pass it there when you have CENTER ICE position? You pass it off to a guy along the boards...at least keep going straight or open the ice up more. Wings been doing this a lot in the last 3 games. For god's sake stop playing the game along the boards.

I have to hand it to the Preds coaching staff...the Preds are well coached. They don't have a lot of top level skill, but they are SOLID defensively and they aren't budging from their game plan. They have size and more speed, but we have the talent. What will win? Please lord let us get a lead. It will force the PReds to open up a little more and then we can take advantage of it... I personally don't think Rinne has been all that great this series...or at least, he hasn't had to steal games. He's been solid but we have blown our chances.

Yeah the Preds appear to be VERY prepared for the Wings' typical tricks. It's going to take lucky bounces for us but we won't get them if we keep waiting for perfect, fancy plays. Those seem to work 4v4 because there's more open space to move around...and for that the Preds have no answer. I just fear if we don't get a lead we are gonna get scored on with one lucky bounce or odd man rush. For God's sakes stop pinching when you know you can't get back in time! We need more speed on this team.

Amazing how we give up those odd man rushes...frustrating is the word. Thank God they didn't try something fancier.

So far this game reminds me of the Caps/Habs series a year or two ago...all the Habs did was sit back and then one chance, bang, goal.

That crap chance they had almost resulted in a goal...ridiculous...
