It's kind of funny because both teams are choke artists in the playoffs. Both teams are kinda known for falling apart in the playoffs. Vancouver is known for not making it past the 2nd round (broke that though). Thornton is a loser, and will be until his team wins the cup. Luongo is over-rated and will continue to be until Vancouver wins the cup. Problem is with Luongo, the team in front of him is a top notch team. I still think 'overrated' may follow him sorta like Osgood's tag of overrated follows him. Everybody thought or some still think Luongo is this elite goalie. I don't see a ton from him to really suggest that. He coughs up turnovers like he did tonight, Turco-style, and he just doesn't seem that mentally tough. Just my opinion. God i wish we were in there.

Thornton's beard/stache around his mouth makes me think his mouth is a butthole. Hate that bastard.

A player like Homer is invaluable. More than 90% of teams don't possess a player willing to get beaten to death in front of the net for tips. Buffugaly Googaly shoulda been picked up. That would be a nice replacement. I am not for getting rid of Homer, nor do I think it would be a good thing for this team. My sister ran into Hudler 2 nights ago at some bar (don't remember where she said it was). She went up and said she thought the wings played well and was sorry they lost. He was very appreciative, she said. I asked if she said "why don't you shoot the ******* puck?" She didn't ask that though LOL

I think the green men are absolutely hilarious. Even if we were playing them and someone got a penalty on the wings and they mocked him I'd be laughing. I think they're great. They're something different that nobody else has and they make people laugh. It's great.

I agree that he was terrible in Game 7. In no way does my opinion have anything to do with him putting Cleary out of the game. That was a completely freak accident that could have happened to anyone. The entire year it seems Hudler has been reluctant to shoot the puck. Every time he gets the puck he's looking around to dish it off. He's even stopped and stood there with the puck, while given space, and continued to just stand there looking to dish it, not shoot it. Hudler is here to score some goals. That requires shooting the puck. If he's not going to do that, he shouldn't be in the lineup. He gets paid way too much to do what he's done. I also think that he should have been benched in game 7. I felt Modano shoulda stayed in and draper should have replaced Hudler. I don't know if it woulda made much difference on the outcome of the game (other than Cleary) but Hudler didn't deserve to be in there in my opinion. I do hope he isn't here next year. We need another 20 goal scorer but more importantly, we need to shore up the 5 and 6 defenders. Our defense was good in the san jose series but it was not great, not like in many past years where we knew how to chip the puck out religiously and didn't get beaten on the forecheck to the puck like we are so much now. I'm not used to seeing the wings struggle with getting the puck out in their own zone. Both Phoenix and San Jose had their way many times.

f***in hudler. If you're not going to shoot the puck then get out of the ******* lineup. Wings look great thus far.

I love the way we are taking the game over. I just wished we woulda tied it in the 2nd. NOw San Jose has a chance to talk about it. We gotta keep leaning on them. We'll tie it up if we keep playing like we just were.

have to see how datsyuk interfered. Terrible to take a penalty in the offensive zone. Looked like we had a ton of momentum going on there. Gotta kill this.

Whatever with this game. If we win, awesome. If we lose, well, it would be a shame to come all this way back but they battled and gave us some enjoyable games. I will be disappointed though. But I'm proud they are even in this game.

I didn't think the wings got any quality scoring chances in that period at all. Lack of work ethic, or the sharks are just that much better and have been MIA for 3 games. Hard to tell really. So far though, San Jose is imposing their will. Long game still though.

I Want to see Thornton's career as a choker become etched in stone with a loss tonight and watch his career go down the ******* drain.

I have no expectations for the Wings today. They came back from being down 3-0. That is incredible. I am happy they have a chance to make history. But God I hope they pull this off. This is unbelievable. The wings aren't some rogue team either from out of nowhere doing this. They're a scary, intimidating team that has been seasoned for 20 years. If anyone can do it they can. If they play hard and lose I'll still be proud of them. If they play like crap and get blown out I'll be upset, but they still battled their ass off to have this shot. I have a feeling they'll at least match San Jose all night. I expect the game to be pretty evenly played. I'm not sure if I will be able to take the overtime if there is one. Ugh.

I hope the wings run away with this game because I want to hear the boos rain down on San Jose.

Tampa won at Pit, after being down 3-1 in the series. Also I'd bet Chicago fans don't want to see us one-up their attempt last round .

God I love this team. Win or lose on Thursday, I am so ******* proud this team fought all the way back. I would cheer them off the rink if they were here and lost. But I have to say, I am glad the game 7 is THERE. It seems most of the teams playing game 7 lately the road team has won.

Yeah, for now only 'start'. He's gotta actually win the cup for me to be all in. He's shown all kinds of toughness in these close elimination games. Don't forget if he makes too many mistakes we're out of the playoffs at any point in the last 3 games. He's money this year for sure. But if he QB's us to a cup he is definitely going to have all the haters off his ass.

How in the hell am I supposed to calm down enough to go to bed? I guess it's easier than if we would have lost.

If Howard quarterbacks us to a game 7 win, I will start thinking that he is MONEY.

I am so proud of this team. I hope we win game 7 in a year when Chicago couldn't do it. Oh baby. This is the only thing I have never witnessed from my team in the past 20 years. This wings team has been through every kind of grinder you can imagine, but hasn't done this. I wonder if that's up on the bulletin board. Now it's all about San JOse choking. ALL THE PRESSURE is on san jose. I think I'm torn, but I am glad the wings are playing game 7 away. They can focus on getting a job done, and not have to feel the pressure of the crowd on their back if the game is a little hairy. San Jose gets down a goal or two and LOOK OUT. Thornton will go down as the biggest ******* choker in the history of sports.
