Can we please, pretty please get rid of this ******* instigator rule? Bert should be on his way to rearrange Pyatt's face for that hit on Lids. You don't go after players like Lidstrom. It's just the unwritten rule. I would guess Pyatt will get flack for that at some point this series or next year.

my worst fear is it's only 2-0. We give one goal up and the entire crowd becomes electric again and the Yotes get momentum. I'd feel a heck of a lot better with a 3-0 lead. Hopefully though the team continues to keep it up for fear of losing the handle on the game.

Well, bout time they called something. Phoenix running a lot of wings from the back, and tripping, hacking, whacking. I'm fine if they let that stuff go all night but too many times they'll let it go then call something nobody can figure out is a penalty lol. Come on guys, make it 3-0 and bury this team.

Can we ******* start the game already? Thanks to Versus which most people don't even have, we have to have this 15-20 minute delay to start the ******* game. The game is already on wayyyy too late. No reason this game couldn't have started at 10.

Is it just me or when we watch these East Coast teams they seem to play like they're in a lower league than the NHL compared to the west? I mean, a lot of the east games are 1-0 or 2-0 for most of the game, with no offensive talent for the most part. Then you come over to the west and you have all these offensive weapons, the pace seems much faster, the plays that get set up are much prettier, etc. Maybe it's me.

I think if we will it will take 5 goals. I say 5-4 if we win, 4-3 if we lose. I expect the Yotes to tighten up, and if the wings are "ON" tonight, I expect a much more defensive battle. There's no way the Yotes can let Datsyuk do is thing either, and my fear is Doan runs over Datsyuk. I swear, that instigator rule has to go.

Well,I predicted the right score last game. I will likely be wrong this time. I think Phx will get every break in the book and win tonight, and we'll all be sweating a bit for game 4. Just my opinion, and knowing how the NHL keeps manipulating games.

I think we should be prepared for a lot of bad ref calls tomorrow. The way the refs seem to be calling games is to make them as exciting as possible. The NHL doesn't want sweeps in series. So, just like the Rangers got today, I'd expect a 5 on 3 tomorrow against us and I'd expect 6-7 penalties called on us in the game. This is how the refs call things now. When one team is up big, the calls all start going the other way. Just my opinion.

I'd still love to know what Helm did wrong, but not going to crucify Jovie for grabbing Helm. I mean, whatever. It's hockey. Helm should have put his glove into Jov's face mask or something. We had no problem with Franzen grabbing Kane's mouth guard a couple years ago so whatever. Just my take on it.

Show the Helm hit because they never showed a replay that I saw. I'd love to know what was so bad about it. Helm is like 50lbs lighter than Jovanovski.

It's funny reading the coyotes boards claiming they legitly fought their way back into this game, but fail to mention the refs kept giftwrapping goals for them. Just ridiculous. If I was not in love with the Wings I would quit watching the NHL. It's just ridiculous.

I think in one or two of those SJ games we faced 2 5 on 3's as well. So, probably more like 7 5 on3's in the last 5 of 6 playoff games. Just been absurd. If you believe the refs will attempt to even up most any game, then along that line of thinking it would seem to make sense the league wants other teams besides Detroit to get exposure and go far in the playoffs. For what, I don't know. Because, the NHL fanbase is not growing despite what the NHL tries to tell people.

Yeah and that's 5 of the last 6 playoff games going back to last year that we have had a 5 on 3 called against us.

Well, I got the prediction right on this game, but I definitely didn't think it would go the way it did. f*** Bettman's NHL. How dumb. Doesn't matter how good a team you are or how different the levels of the team skill is, the refs will ensure it's equal.
