If he was stopping those in the regular season then they were due to luck not skill. Two goals on the power play were heavy screened shots. You cannot fault a goalie on that. The third goal was off a point blank shot on the rebound, and the shot was a shot you never see in any games lol. Gimme a break. I can't believe I'm defending the opposing goalie. I will simply say though, Bryz is overrated when it comes to playing us at least.

None of those goals were softies. The Coyotes have no answers for a wings team that is firing on all cylinders Two goals were screen shots and the third was due to poor defense and unbelievable skill.

I really hope that franzen comes back for this game. I'm worried about having a concussion. That would be brutal as who knows how long it takes for a concussion to go away. Just ask Crosby.

Just wait until we have to play SJ or Vancouver and we play game 4 here followed by game 5 the next day there lol. It'll happen. 2 Years ago instead of disposing of chicago quickly in 5 games it was a detriment because they moved the SCF up by several days, so the wings only got 2 days off instead of like 5 or 6 which they EARNED. I think it woulda made a difference, but no point crying over spilled milk.

Doan needs to get 'tuzzied' because I'm sick and tired of watching that POS running around without a fear in his heart. F that. I absolutely loved that Bert fought even though it was a little one. We need that mean streak out of him, he's one of the only wings that possess it.

I have to give it to the wings. They started off maybe rusty or something, I don't know. But after that they really got things together despite facing what, 5 straight Penalties? The wings I think took Phx' best punch. I don't think Phoenix has anything else to give. Howard was sensational. Howard won us this game, guys. I know some probably won't want to admit that, but if he wasn't 'johnny on the spot' it would have been 3-0 after the first period and who knows...

I know we were on the pk substantially in that period, but man, come on we gotta start taking the play to them. We were not in their zone NEARLY ENOUGH at all. If we keep it in their zone we'll get some calls, I HOPE! At least, our chances will be better, how's that lol.

I'm sure Phoenix is well aware they are going to be allowed to belt Homer all series and get away with it. I think the NHL is a joke in that regard. Just because you stand in front of the net does not warrant constant crosschecks to the back. It's just ridiculous.

Phoenix has played a picture perfect period. We are lucky to be only down 1. The wings really better get their s*** together. So far it looks like a lot more of the same inconsistency that we saw in the regular season, but the refs are definitely not doing us any favors either.
