Honestly, a team is playing a game 7 against the AHL Wild. How in the hell is Dallas not up 4 goals right now? Pathetic. Honestly the more I think about it now, the more I hope Chicago gets in and plays Vancouver, because as others have said, it would probably be a Van sweep over Dallas anyway. Dallas sucks.

I have seen people predict the wings will lose but that's different from WISHING they'd lose. I have predicted a 2nd round exit, and lately a 1st round exit based on how they've been playing. It doesn't make me a fairweather fan, just a realistic fan. I have not seen anyone on here actually wish and hope the wings lose. That's just ridiculous. There was a play in the 2nd period where Modano did a blind drop pass in the middle of his own zone, right in front of Howard, that lead to a turnover and almost a scoring opportunity. That alone deserves a bench, especially when you've been in the league for 2 decades. We don't need any more defensive liabilities on this team.

I would be THE LEAST worried about Dallas. They will probably get in and get swept. I'm not concerned in the slightest by Dallas. If I didn't hate Chciago I owuld hope for a dallas loss and let chicago try to get Vancouver out. That would be a much more fair matchup. I was more worried about us letting Chicago get in with a win over us and THEM coming back to kill us in the playoffs.

I would expect a Chicago power play coming anytime between now and the next 5 game time minutes. Just enough time to get one, then 5-7 minutes of game time to get another to tie. That's how I see it going. COME ON BABY!

If refs are looking right at a high stick or hook and don't call it, then they aren't doing their job, and this argument that "the refs can't see everyhting and it's tough to be a ref" nonnsense goes out the window. Sorry, but there is manipulation. If you see it, then call it. End of story.

I said it on page 2 of this thread 2 hours before the gmae even started. YES, you're right. Now, think back to last year's playoff series versus the SJ Sharks. A 5 on 3 in every game against us. HMMMMM. Detroit has been the premier team for 20 years. I think they want to make room for other teams to succeed.

I don't know why anyone wouldn't think there was some kind of manipulation going on. It happens in every major corporation. It happens in the stock market. It was proven to happen in the NBA. Why would the NHL be any different? Chicago would bring more ratings to the NHL. Who wouldn't want their last year's champion back in to defend their championship? But come on. You guys have to admit something smells fishy. If there were no power plays at all in the game yet for both sides fine, but there's been 2 for Chicago, and zero for Detroit, and one obvious call that wasn't that led directly to Chicago's goal. I would expect more referee help for Chicago in the 3rd.
