Stuart has been atrocious anyways lately. Not a bad situation for the Wings. Don't like to see anyone get injured though.

Ozzie has to anticipate that cross ice pass. What a joke. But where, oh where is the defense more importantly? I can't believe it. I'm going to bed. What a waste of time to stay up and be tired at work in the morning because I watch this crap.

I'm sorrry, where was the penalty again? What the hell has been with Detroit getting 1-2 power plays a game and the other team getting double or more? This seems to be going on the last couple weeks. Minnesota is doing the same interfereing and they're getting away with it. I don't get it at all. Bad luck or no luck apparently... And that WAS NOT an icing. I don't even think they're goalie could believe it.

Why are we giving up so many ******* 2vs1s? WHAT THE f***? And they're FULL BLOWN 2vs1's. I don't get it at all. Why is our defense all of a sudden s***?

I dont' disagree with you, but ozzie turned it on in both post seasons the past 2 years. I believe Ozzie will start regardless. If he has a bad game, he will get yanked because they won't be able to afford a bad game from Ozzie. So I disagree with you on your last point. I don't think he should get a pass in the regular season either, but people are crucifying ozzie just like they did last year, but yet he stood on his head a lot in the playoffs for us. That's all I'm saying.

Question: Is there a difference between how ozzie played last regular season vs. this regular season? This season: 2.83GGA .896SV% GP 20 7-7-4 Last season: 3.09GGA .887SV% GP 46 26-9-8 I would say we had way more offense to win those games last year. We had virtually no injuries all year. Ozzie was arguably worse last year. His little, scrawny ass won us a cup on 2008, and almost in 2009. I am not trying to be an Ozzie slappy, but the stats tell the tale.

I'm sorry but no goalie is stopping the 2nd goal. It was a perfect shot, another millimeter up and it hits the bar and doesn't go in. Nobody is stopping it. The first goal the rebound or pass (whatever it was) went to the player who was left wide open by Helm and Stuart.

3 goals on 6 shots is really bad, but all 3 shots were really not Ozzie's fault. All 3 were great scoring chances. The two goals by Miettenen were not stoppable and the third was through a crowd taht went in just below the crossbar and they had to review it to make sure. Can't fault Ozzie. But if anything, Ozzie has nothing but bad luck. We may see howard in the 2nd.

Look at that. Stuart out there for a 6th straight goal against stemming from the start of last game. I believe he was out there for every goal scored against last game. This is ridiculous. How does he get that wide open to score like that?

I have no confidence in this team to win tonight. I hope I'm wrong. Don't mean to be pessimistic, but they have deserved that kind of response from fans over the last 2 weeks.

He couldn't give up any more pucks than Stuart has right in front of our net lately... I hope he does come back. You're right, he was a solid 3rd pairing player.

I like the bud ice penguin commercials, namely the one where the penguin calls the couple who are having a quiet night and asks "how's your bud light? doobee doo bee doo". Also, the one where the goalie makes the other goalie slip on a banana peel. Classics.

Some nights Zetts is invisible out there. I do not get it this year. I know pieces hvae been missing, but come on. These guys are supposed to be super stars in the league. I expect more out of them, simple as that. HOpefully this is just a bad season and we can squeek into the playoffs and the new season starts.

How in the f*** can Ohallerin call that penalty? Are you ******* kidding me? Number 1, it wasn't even a penalty, number 2 they were letting both teams pull players down all game long and then they call that s*** against the losing team with less than 2 minutes to go. WHAT THE f***? Besides that, this ******* team sucks. I just don't get it. They play well for a period, and as the game goes on they get worse and worse. I don't know, maybe the other team just gets better and the Wings are not that good. I know this, they don't deserve to make the playoffs. If they keep this nonsense up I hope they don't make it. It's absurd. You can't give up your 2-goal leads, game after game. This is ridiculous. Good thing Phoenix lost.

THis is like playoff hockey all season long. It was nice in the past to have stress free seasons where you were 100% sure your team was making it, but this year every game is very important, which makes me look forward to every game, just like I do in playoff season. I love it. But of course, I just hope we make it.

Time to find out how much the Wings want the playoffs. Here's a prime opportunity to get by LA. No prediction. Just win the game in regulation.

I agree with you. It is nice when your team is certain to make the playoffs, but this year adds a level of exceitment that we have really not had in decades now. Every game means so much, and I'm very excited for every game. Not to the point of a playoff game, but it is a definite elevated state of excitement for each game compared to previous years.

Bertuzzi blew it, but Stuart with a bonehead play, and Osgood doesn't take the ice away on a shot like that, AGAIN. I blame all 3 of them for this loss. Unbelievable. I can't believe we didn't even get a ******* point out of this game. Prime opportunity to move into the playoff race and we come out empty handed, with a very good defensive effort. Un ******* believable.

In a way, this year's season has been more exciting than past years. We are used to it just being a given by the end of November that we will be in the playoff race. I am enjoying something being on the line every game. Of course, I just hope we make it. This game should be wild. I hope we see alot of offense tonight.
