I'd probably play Datsyuk very scarcely and maybe at the 10 minute mark if we're still rolling 5-0 then bench him. No point risking injury. We get out of this game and we got the nice 3 days until the next game...which is going to be huge for the red wings.

I thought the slash on Datsyuk was an attempt to injure datsyuk. Bush League... I can understand the feeling to win, but you want to win and beat them fairly, not cheat and try to injure people so you have a better chance...

I'm sure the Pens thought they were going to roll in here and win game 5, nothing stopping them now...and frankly, I was worried that might happen myself. But I'm so glad we have a team that has more resiliancy than I can ever remember seeing a team have.

Wow the Pens lost their composure. So, we lost ours in 4th and they lost theirs in the 5th game. We're even. Let's get this one over with and get some good rest and try to win the cup in game 6.

Almost every goal that the Pens have scored has come from Malkin or by Malkin. He's the guy we really need to shut down, well, him and continue to stay on Sid. So far so good...

That call for interference though, was a rather weak call given what they let go typically...but we'll take it. We need to get a 2 goal lead and keep the pressure on. The Pens offense is too good to give them the puck for most of the game.

Datsyuk already making a huge difference, forcing the Pens to respect him...

We were way too cocky as a fanbase after we won 2 games. It's only natural that he'd be very confident as a Pens fan. It's the way that we got beat that concerns me. We were competitive in game 3, but in game 4 we were dead tired and they ran circles on us for alot of the game. If we were competitive in both games and just didn't get the bounces, that's one thing. But we were ran out of their building pretty good in game 4. I'm worried, but I'm also still confident. The Wings have been through too much adversity in the last few years for me to doubt that they can turn it around.

I'll say this, this is the final straw with Datsyuk's injury. If he doesn't play tomorrow, then I think we can all assume it's been a smoke screen from the beginning and he's going to be out for the series...

The end of the schedule favors detroit with the 2 days off between games 5 and 6 and 6 and 7. Don't be so sure about us being tired. If we can pull out game 5, we are back in control and all the pressure is on the Pens. If we don't win game 5, well, we'll see just how much resiliancy is left in this Detroit team.

The pens can absolutely maintain that intensity beacuse they're hungry for the cup since they lost it last year. If you notice, the Pens get their momentum and energy from the wings breaking down on plays, and from scoring their goals. When the wings went up 2-1 in that game, the Pens looked lost and worried. The wings started to play like a machine again until the defense turned it over on the power play and gave up the SH goal.

All I know is I can't remember the last time I saw them this rattled...

Im' sure you're probably kidding, but we need speed and skill, not thugs. This series has gone ary because we are gassed and have no speed...

I trust Babcock, but what I don't understand is why they didn't get the day off before game 4. Seriously...3 games in 4 nights and you have them practicing? Seriously? I don't get that one. But I'm not going to try and tell Babs what to do. He's been phenominal for us. I really hope we win game 5.
