I agree with you 100%. All of us have been preaching that we are far deeper than the Pens, and that we can still win without Datsyuk, UNTIL NOW. I still think we're deeper, but we are gassed, and that's the difference. The refs have been bad both ways in this series. It's arguable that it might haave cost the wings game 3 if they had gotten the too many men call and scored onit, but that's a WHAT IF and there's no guarentee we woulda scored there anyways. In fact, given we're like 1 for 12 or whatever, I'd say we probably wouldn't have scored. The Pens should be given credit. They're playing like they want it more, and the wings are playing like they're completely gassed and want no part of it. The pens should be given alot of credit for hanging in there. They faced another 2-0 deficit in the series and had a 3% chance of winning it based on history. We'll see how game 5 goes. One thing to note, not so much the refs, but the linesmen. They have been absolutely atrocious in the SCF. Usually the refs make almost no mistakes, but this series they have missed alot of off side plays...really they were bad in the Chicago series as well.

We are gassed from 4 games in 6 nights coming off the Chicago series...and Pit is playing like they want it more. We're going to become the 2nd team to give up a 2-0 lead in the SCF and lose the cup if we don't find a way to get rested.

Can't blame the SH goal on the officials...we had the upper hand, 2-1 game and 2 power plays in a row. Nobody to blame but ourselves. We need to get our energy level back and play like the machine we know how to play like...

It was in the presser, one of the reporters said in the Pit room they said they heard some Wings players on the ice chirping at each other... This is the Red Wings. They have PROVEN to all of us that when they face big adversity, they come out on top. I still have plenty of faith that they'll get it turned around. The ONLY reason that I have any doubt though, is because of the brutal schedule. I think the Wings got pretty beat up on the way to the Finals this year, and then the schedule really hurt. I think they're tired, and Babs needs to probably tell the guys to just show up for the game on Satuirday night, no practices...

We had the upper hand with power plays tonight. We didn't lose because of the Refs. This is the worst game we have played in the playoffs today. I think Pit had alot to do with it, but I also think the schedule has really hurt the wings.

I don't have an NHL game for my 360 lol... The best team doesn't always play the best, doesn't mean they're still not the best. In the big picture, I still think they are. They certainly haven't played like it in this series though.

If it's true that our players were chirping at each other, then we're falling apart. Not looking good...

Boy I really hope we get Datsyuk back in. It's like the equivalent of them playing without Crosby or Malkin...we need our 'malkin' back in the lineup...

I'm probably gonna get hammered for saying this, but let's all breathe and take a step back from this for a minute, and look at what we have: We have the best team in the NHL, despite what happens in this series. We won a cup last year. We are 2 wins from back to back cups. Even if we don't lose guys, we took it as far as we could and ALMOST repeated. That being said, I think things will change in Detroit. This series is probably going 7 at this point...

How can we be confident that the wings will recover enough to play hard for 60 minutes in game 5, when that's a 5th game in 8 nights? They don't get any rest at all until games 6 and 7 with the 2 days in between game days...

We had all the momentum after 2 games...I think we're in Fleury's head playing at our house. He looks like a totally different goalie there. I think it's a must win though for us in game 5. I don't think we're going to win with the momentum of a 3 game losing streak if we drop game 5. Boy, the wings look completely gassed and/or injured. I can't really explain it.

Do you think the 4 games in 6 nights has the wings gassed? They sure look gassed. I can't explain it. INjuries possibly. Kronwall hasn't been the same. He's not hammering people like usual. Hudler is non-existent. Even Lidstrom looks slow.

Why would this be a must win for the wings when it is a 2-2 series and we have home ice advantage?

Pens fans, Congratulations on 2 wins. I'm surprised. I was one saying there was no way they were going to win both games in Pit but they did. Congratulations. Best of 3 now.

I can't ever remember the wings looking this bad in a game with all of the turnovers. Can't blame the referees in this one guys. At first it looked bad with the refereeing but they gave us the upper hand and we didn't even get a shot on that last PP opportunity. I bet we'll probably get 1 chance in the 3rd, and we better bury it. Man, we better win game 5 in Detroit if we don't win tonight.

That was a nice goal they scored, have to give it to them. And it was against Lidstrom. What the hell is going on with our team? I wonder if alot more players are injured than we know about. This doesn't look like them at all and Pit isn't good enough to make us look like this?

I love when they show Malkin getting 'penalized'. Wow, crumbles on his legs like that...give me a break man. I wish they'd call diving on players, even if ours dive. It's so stupid when they cheat.

I heard the ratings SUCKED ASS...but maybe since the ratings have been horrid for a decade, they coulda been better. I guess soild s*** is better than diahrrea...
