I'm surprised. I thought TB would come out absolutely flying. Nope. Wings have matched them. I'm actually really surprised. I thought the wings being young would cave. We'll see what happens though. We'll see if there's adversity in this game against the wings if they can hold it together this time.

No faith the wings are going to turn this momentum back around. That's a devastating loss. Too many young kids.

Datsyuk looks really slow and injured to me. Could just be a bad night or something, but he doesn't look right whatsoever.

Tampa hasn't really had that many great chances, but neither have we. The wings are playing fast and matching the intensity. 2 games in a row now, is a good sign. One more period to grab TB by the throat. Just don't let up! Need to kill this penalty off and then match TB's intensity. You know they'll be coming.

What's nice for a change is we're playing against a skill team that isn't all about trying to beat the hell out of us for being 'smaller'. We're not as small as we used to, but still small.

Glad we won. The wjngs better clean up their stupid mistakes or they are gonna pay sooner or later. Was that nyquist with about 11 minutes to go pinching in which resulted in the breakaway? WTF man you have a 2-0 lead. You don't need it. Smith did that earlier in the game I think...lead to another bad turnover. They escaped it though. TB was whiffing on shots, hitting posts, ugh. That's not going to happen 2 games in a row. Wings had a lot of energy all night though. There wasn't really a time I remember them sitting back for any length of time. It all went for us tonight. It's not going to go all for us on Thursday.

Let's see this kind of effort all series PLEASE! Wings got away with a lot of bounces go their way, but they had great work ethic tonight. Probably made their own breaks. Great game. Do it again Thursday.
