I'm really looking forward to Chicago. I think their defense will be a little looser, and Chicago likes to play run and gun hockey. The offense should be great in the series. -

These guys don't even know hockey. Just ignore them. They don't know what they're talking about. BS calls on both sides, but it's impossible to make a legit case that the calls should be evened up right now. The ducks are committing so many penalties it's unbelievable. -

This is why people talk about conspiracies with the refs. I mean, this is the most obvious game in a very long time that looks like it's being 'fixed' in some way. You got ducks players totally hacking and crosschecking, tackling wings players RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF, and they don't call it. You get a wing player cross checked into the goalie, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF and they call a penalty on the wing player. It's unbelievable. Can't really find the words... -

This is some of the worst refereeing I've ever seen. It's OBVIOUSLY BLATENTLY BAD. You call something on the wings, but the ducks just continue to get away with the same or worse. Thank God the penalty kill is showing up today. This could be real bad. I just don't get the refereeing whatsoever tonight. Ducks mug players RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF, the ref looks to see if Selanne bounces back up, then calls the penalty, at least a 2-3 second delay there. BS. -

Yeah, and for some reason I thought we'd get good, objective, refereeing tonight when I saw who the refs were. I won't make that mistake again lol. The power plays should be oh, around 10 for detroit by now, and 3 or 4 for the ducks. -

Guys, That speed we just saw by Helm is something we have not had on this team in a very long, long time. We have not had a guy who can break away from the crowd like that. I mean, WOW, he was hauling ass. Thing of beauty. -

If the refs were calling the game as it was intended by the league at the start of the regular season, the calls would be about 20 on the ducks and 10 on the red wings. Instead, you get the refs at first letting it go, then all of a sudden deciding to call cheap crap. You have to wonder what goes on in the ref's head when this stuff goes on. And you can't tell me the refs have too much to watch. The constant hacks and whacks by Pronger on Homer are going on right in front of the refs. It's ridiculous. If the league wants more goals, then you have to let players get in front of the goalie. If you want to jockey for position, then let them, but not by crosschecking. It's unbelievable. Hopefully all that pushing by pronger causes him to tire out. All I can say is, we need a 2 or 3 goal lead. -

I would hope the wings don't sit back. This game is way too important. Keep coming. They started loosening up the ducks defense toward the end of the period. If they continue to do that, they'll score 3 or 4 goals at least tonight. -

Yeah, I'd say it's rigged. Give me a ******* break. Hossa hauled down right in front of the ref, no call, a ticky tack hook for 5 on 3 in a game 7. Un ******* believable. -
I dont think Babs needed to tell Datsyuk 'You need to score goals". I bet he told Datsyuk to stop thinking he HAS to score goals, and go back to hitting, outskating everyone, playing solid defense, and setting up others. The chances will come. You dont' need to tell a 100pt scorer they need to score.

An enforcer woulda taken a hard skating, skilled player out of the lineup. Why is this board so damn wishy washy. Read some of the comments about the wings in the GDT yesterday and you'd think the Wings were one of the worst teams in the league. Contrast that with the GDT from Game 4 or 5...unbelievable. Look, for whatever reason, the wings didn't show up as a whole yesterday. That will change in Game 7.

All of the top offensive players for the Wings have been nonexistant today, and nobody has even tested hiller. If i were keeping quality scoring chances, I'd give 1-2 for the wings for 2 periods. I don't know how they're saying the Wings have more quality chances...
