I was for the refs calling more relative to the 90s, but I really don't like how involved they are in games.

I'm hoping for a lot of offense tonight. Hopefully they didn't burn themselves out yesterday.

I have 3rd row off ice tickets to the game tonight. Fell in my lap. I cannot wait. Haven't been to a game in 3 years and have never sat this close.

The kings are just fascinating. Out of nowhere 2 yrs ago, and out of nowhere this yr. They started 3 games late And it isnt slouch teams they are defeating either!

I agree with this and said something similar in another thread. He scores some goals but they impact like 15 games a season lol. If he scores 2 goals in 15 games, that doesn't help as much as it might seem.

Id like to see the nhl open the goals up more. Either make nets bigger or reduce goalie pads alot more. U watch vintage hockey and it was a human standing in net with tons of room around him to score. Now when u look at a goalie in net there is so little room for scoring. You hear all the commentators say all the time how u cant score on goslies without putting it top corner anymore. I think that is a problem. Safety is paramount but they gotta do something. Unless its a bad goal, most goals are scrum goals. Not all that exciting.

I wonder if boston just wised up and studied them. Those guys kinda came out of no where. Maybe during the season nobody took them seriously enough. We will see next season if it was a fluke
