I'm not all that pissed that we are in a 2-2 series, I'm pissed that it's the PReds we are in a 2-2 series with. Give me a f***in break.

I think we are going to learn everything we need to know about this Team today. IF the wings do not respond now, then what else do we really need to know? I am as unconfident about winning today as I was last game. I will say Wings 3-2 in a nail biter.

I think yesterday was a matter of playing down to their opponent. When they had the 2 goal lead they quit trying very hard and sat back. You could see once the Preds scored goal 1, the wings were all flat footed. I mean, it appeared to me the wings were just waiting to get to game 4 with half the game to go last night. I will say it again, i really think we will find out what kind of team we have tomorrow. If the wings lose tomorrow, then we don't have as great of a team as we would all like to think. If the wings win, then that's what they are expected to do. They are expected to respond to adversity. I think the Wings never would have sat back like that against a team like Anaheim or SJ last night.

See now I didn't think the wings looked like they were working very hard for the second half of the game. they looked like they were standing around alot, and were trying to trap the entire 3rd period. That was a bad way to try to seal the deal. Of course, if Stuart's shot goes in, we win most likely, but I mean, the wings looked flat for half that game.

If the wings are worthy of a cup, they will bounce right back from this loss. If not, well, then we learn alot about this team.

The problem that i saw from the middle to end of the second period, was that the wings were sitting back like they were trying to kill off a 25 minute penalty. I kept telling my sister they were going to score on us if we kept playing like that. I figured once we got to the 2nd intermission, Backcock would lay the hammer down on the team for standing around and playing sluggish. The wings looked like they felt like they were owed the win and played like it after the first period. I, for one, am happy the Wings lost. I think it could be a blessing in disguise. I am not too concerned yet, not unless the wings look like crap in game 4 and lose it. I predicted 5 games and I still hold that to be true. Hasek I'm not going to throw the hammer down on. There were alot of bodies in front of him on that tying goal. The go-ahead goal was a hard slap shot at point blank range. Hasek came way out to cut the angles down but not quite far enough. The whole team played sluggish and were not skating at all. I think that is why we lost.

They did too much winning at the end of the regular season. It appears SJ burnt themselves out...

I got a bigger kick out of the microphones being close to the ice for I think it was, sh*t can't remember which one last night now. I was watching all 3. Was it the Calgary game? Hmm. One of the guys was like "you're a ******* *****" and "you're a ******* *****", and as they were going over to the box, he kept saying "you won't drop em" LOL. I just thought it was bad ass that you could hear it on Television...

I think that was the most awesome screen I ever saw. If Holmstrom didn't have the hands, I'd say to do that himself LOL.

I agree that this will be the toughest fought game of this series yet. I think if Detroit is going to lose a game this series, it will be tonight. In fact, I'm a little worried about it. If the wings go up 3-0, I think it'll be a sweep. But if Nashville wins tonight, who knows what happens in game 4. I really don't know what to predict today. I'll predict a 2-2 game going into OT, and leave it at that...

Guys, SJ is in big trouble in that series. I watched that entire game and boy, Calgary was relentless all game. I'm surprised Calgary didn't win 5-3 or 6-3. I seriously don't see SJ making it out of that series. Anaheim is dead in the water as well. I will not hold my breath because they could easily win game 3 and it's a new ball game, but both Ana and SJ have looked like past Detroit teams in the first round when they've been upset. I can't help but draw that comparison.

Yeah, so much for that theory from that article someone wrote on the Ducks about how they'll only get so many penalties in a game for playing dirty and that's waht they were banking on...

I honestly thought those goalie name chants were the dumbest things fans in every other building could do. The fact that I never heard that from the Detroit crowd made me proud. But today, I was like 'WTF IS THAT?" when it started. Oh well. At least we won, but yeah I agree, it sounds like something some expansion team would do. And I really want to know what I think it's St. Louis' crowd chants every time they score a goal. It's something fairly long. Does anyone know?

I think that it was justified that we got a very lucky goal since Nashville got a very lucky goal. It evened out there. That said, the Preds have now scored a total of 1 actual goal without a bunch of bounces occuring (2ng goal they scored today). If I were them I'd worry about generating more offense than complaining about little things.

Lets get a big hold on this series by winning today. COME ON BABY! Sucks Nashville lost Nichol. That's a big loss for them. LETS GO WINGS.

I'm very happy they won, but the wings looked shakey on defense at times in my opinion. I honestly didn't think they'd have too much trouble on offense after watching about 5-10 minutes of the first period. The wings looked on offensively. If they get their little hiccups on defense fixed up, they'll be a prime time contender for sure. The preds were hanging around WAYYY too long for my liking, but it was definitely exciting hockey.
