...yet Osgood has the better record with the far-worse sv% (not even trying to make a point, i just REALLY don't think the team plays any different because of the goalie) -
Ozzy has been quoted as saying so, basically that he's been a little bit banged up all year before he had the time off. I haven't really ever observed him making excuses. My guess would be that he thought he was healthy enough to play, but the time off really did him some good to get back to the top of his game. But really, who cares. I'm glad he's playing well now.

Last time I saw the stats, West vs. East was dead even IF you take out all games involving the Southeast division. The Southeast sucks so much.

That is ridiculous. I'd say they have to be playing pretty good (overall) infront of him considering their record with Ozzy... 12-2-4 with a .876sv%.
