Every game Conklin plays that starts with Ken and Mick talking about the playoff starting position being up in the air ends with Conks playing like ass. I swear he can hear them and gets nervous.

On the plus side, this collapse went a long way for the possibility of all 5 teams in the central making the playoffs, especially since the Blues won. ...I guess that's kind of cool...

We sucked in the third. Typical sit-on-the-lead bulls***. If Osgood played great, we would have probably held on long enough. Unfortunately, he didn't and we lost. It's not as if we were controlling the game when it fell apart. :/

...but do collective regular season statistics, mostly from October/November/December/January really affect how a goalie plays NOW and into the playoffs? He's been pretty good over 6-7 starts in March. I think we should have no worries going into the playoffs as long as he finishs out his last 5-6 starts strong.

MacDonald doesn't play like that every game. or any game, really. (except for this one) ...and how many games does Ozzy get 40+ shots against? Wings goalies RARELY get the chance to outright steal a game. MacDonald gets the chance to steal a game every other night for a team like the Isles...

bah, HUGE off game for ozzy. He's been good in 6 of 7, so hopefully this is a fluke. it's pretty sucky that conklin gets the loss.

That was actually Conklin in the 6-5 loss to Calgary a couple of weeks ago. Osgood has won 4 straight and Conklin hasn't played since he fell apart in the third period of that game against Calgary... I think Babcock made the right choice for this B2B. Anyway, I'm kind of hoping for a multi-point night from Hossa to put him back on a PPG pace... make it happen Hossa. We take this one 4-2, with an ENG.

Didn't get to see the game, but I came back and read the WHOLE GDT. LOLZ @ Osgood bashers when it was 0-2 (because I already knew it ended 3-2 ) Sounded like a solid game after we cracked Biron. Going to watch highlights.

Definitely excited to see Osgood rockin' again. Throw out the debacle against Columbus and he's been great this month. Hopefully it continues. Go Wings! ...Also, Zetterberg needs a couple of points to get him on track to finish above PPG this year.

Osgood's theatrics came very late in the game and there wasn't much time for the votes to pour in.

Blues aren't a bad team, Osgood made the difference in the third today. The Wings played terrible at Los Angeles. It's not like these games are winning themselves. Ozzy's been good and hopefully it continues.

Oh yeah, I meant he's been overall pretty bad this season, but I think he's playing great today. There have been no easy saves in this game.
