hahaha! i was going through some old photos and found this gem from high school. i'm the cool one in the glasses up front. i'm still good friends w/two of these people, still keep in contact w/three more, and the other two i never really talked to anyway. not too shabby. anyone else feel like sharing their dorky high school photos?

ozzie's been great for us so far. he had some bad bounces yesterday. i'm confident he'll be great tomorrow. chill, dude.

haha, i'd hardly call a loss by one point in a game that went into triple overtime "crushing". a crushing loss, at least how i understand it would be like what you guys experienced in games one and two. and, uh. you're still one away from elimination, and we're still one away from the cup so may i suggest you go back to your pens boards while the bandwagon is still full. i'm sure most of the "fans" will get bored and move on to the next exciting thing soon, so you might as well say whatever you have to say in there while there are still people who care to read it.

this reminds me: for all the metro detroiters, merchant's wine and spirits on michigan avenue in dearborn is a good place to look for this, and pretty much any other hard to find beer. they have a really good section of new england beers too. it's the only place (outside of the northeastern us) that i can get harpoon munich dark from, and i think i've seen sea dog there too. not to mention the huge selection of international beers (my grandpa buys zywiec porter from poland there!) they also have a ton of different wines, meades, and liquors. the staff is (usually) super knowledgable. and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a bar and buying the stuff.

it is kinda sick. and here i was expecting them to be verbally fellating crosby the whole series. that wiley cbc, they sure fooled me. i think i should change my drinking game...

wow! i go to a bar that has beer from all over the world, including a lot of micros. i'll have to ask about some of those. especially the blushing monk! though i gotta tell you, i think i'm gonna stay away far away from any beer intended to taste like raspberry cheesecake. it seems so easy to f up fruit beer and make something that tastes like cough syrup, fruit punch, or (in the case of leinenkugel berry weiss) cheap church wine. not to mention i'm not usually much for lagers or hefeweisens, so i just usually pass anyway in favour of a nice dark stout or porter. also you have brought to my attention that i really need to make a ratebeer.com profile. hehe...

so.. my boyfriend hasn't shaved since the first round. he has a rockin neckbeard, not to mention weird random patches of hair on his face that have grown above the top line of his actual beard. to the untrained it looks HORRIBLE! it looks UNKEMPT! it looks SKEEZY! but to a hockey fan....it's the kind of full-on face shrub that says "we're one away from the cup baby!!".
