for the price of two tickets, i could buy groceries for two people for a week. for the price of the gas it takes to get to the joe (and i'm probably closer than anyone else here) and what it costs for parking, i could fill up my gas tank. for the price of a beer and a hot pretzel at the joe, i could buy a six pack and a box of pretzels. plus, lots of people work at night. it used to be that they could afford to blow off work for a day and go to a game. not so much anymore. the economy is a joke, and everyone knows we in michigan have been hit the hardest.

well yeah, it doesn't seem likely that we WON'T make it to the finals. but we aren't there yet. and like i said, it's just superstition on my part. haha...i won't even let my mom watch the games, because whenever she does, we lose.

my boyfriend (who watches some of the games w/me but isn't really into hockey) shaved his beard the day nashville won game 4. he decided that maybe his beard shaving has something to do w/the wings losing, and hasn't shaved since. so far, it's working! and..what the heck is up w/everyone's wives/girlfriends hating beards? beards rule! i wish every dude had 'em! (except ozzie, because that would just look silly.)
