i hear that, dude! it's kinda obnoxious. i notice a lot of those guys pronounce a ton of nhl players names incorrectly, which makes me think they've just got something in front of the w/scores and stats and stuff, and they're just reading off of that and making off the cuff predictions/commentary based on essentially nothing. i don't think there's a single dj on that station that really gives a crap about hockey. 97.1 is pretty much baseball half the year and football the other half. everything just seems kinda thrown in as an afterthought.

i'd rather just throw octopi at bettman.

qft!! haha, i snubbed avery once. it was during the lockout, i was at cheli's in dearborn, and my dad and i were walking out and avery and cheli were walking in. my dad and i got cheli's autograph and just sort of ignored avery. cheli even said "hey and this is sean avery" or something to that effect. but we were in a hurry, and my dad didn't even know who he was.

i have a good feeling about this one! come on wings! let's make those obnoxious preds fans stfu!

hey, is there anyone in here from in/around detroit proper (or who is willing to travel) who'd be interested in some sort of meet up at a bar to watch a playoff game? it seems like almost everyone i've talked to in here is from like an hour or more away. i know of quite a few great bars to watch hockey games at around here, and i think it'd be awesome to hang out w/other diehards. so..any takers?

i understand the angle everyone seems to be going for here, but to me it looks like heatley is crapping out a sidney crosby.

a few new ones. i set the camera on my trampoline to take this. it didn't work out too well. but it does show what a beautiful evening it is! one of my cats, katie. i thought she might've been in the fishtank for a second. it would seem the fish did too. me and one of my dogs, ginger. i don't normally look this gross. focus on the puggle! the obligatory camera+mirror photo.

i'd love to go, but i already made plans to watch game five at b-dubs in southgate w/a few friends. if anyone wants to meet us up there though, of course all fellow lgw-ers are always welcome!
