Great last 30 mins by the Wings. NSH got virtually nothing in our zone till the last 5 mins, and even then they didn't create a great deal. Ozzie - totally in control and cool, we never looked in danger with him there. If that was Dom in net, he would've got bored with the lack of action and tried stickhandling the puck to the blue-line or something equally dumb. In fact, if it wasn't for Dom, this could and should have been over in 4. Game effort by the Preds, but the better, nay dominant, team won Now I'm off to bed - I gotta be up in 6 hours!

Drew Sharpe is a moron - he's written 2 articles on the Wings all year, the first was at the start of the season when we were struggling with attendance, and the other night when Hasek got yanked. And aside from that he's not found anything else negative to write about the Wings, hence only 2 articles. The last one I can remember him doing before that was on the CuJo/Hasek thing. Spot the trend? The guy is a grade A tool, and I take no notice of, or have any respect for, anything he says or writes.

As for not signing any players with our cap room - Holland has made it abundantly clear that because of the need to resign Flip/Franzen/Lidstrom Zetterberg, they could not take anyone on with a big multi-year contract, but they couldn't get anyone other than Drake with a 1-year deal. They tried to sign Stuart but he wanted to live in California - just what is Holland supposed to do about that? Stupidest thread ever.
