No, you get Hero of the People for doing 50 misc quests. I guess side quests are the ones that aren't part of a Faction/Daedric/Divines groupings. Like yourself, I can't figure out how I haven't got that one yet.

Its crazy really, I'm only 1/3 way through the main quest, halfway through the Daedric quests, third of the way through the Stormcloaks, Thieves Guild broke with a bug after the 1st quest, not joined DB, only just joined companions, but finished Mages college, not done any of 8 Divines quest. Yet, despite this only scratching the surface, and despite no powerlevelling (apart from a little smithing) I'm already lvl 37. Just shows how much there is to this game. I want to create another character to do things from the other side, but by the time I finish with this character, I'm pretty sure I'll be burnt out

Congrats on your logic, in completely misunderstanding my point - which is that Iginla, having played the best years of his career in the dead puck era, to have scored 500 goals is a fine achievement. A finer achievement than some of the other 500-club members who racked up easy goals in the 80s. Iginla was top goalscorer one year with just 41 goals, compared to 20 years ago when 70, 80, even 90 goals were being scored.

Wow, I wasn't aware that the NHL was such a simple, logical place. The great goal-scorer Franzen has broken 30 goals just once, is past 30, picking up injuries, and signed to a monster contract that rewards him with $$$$$$$$$$$ whatever he does (which is often as little as possible). Getzlaf is an all-star, Franzen isn't. Datsyuk-Getzlaf gives us a 1-2 punch that would give the rest of the WC kittens. Anytime you can aqcuire a top, high-end player for non-star players, you should. Players of the quality of Getzlaf (or Perry, or Ryan) don't come on the market very often. I can only assume you weren't watching Hockey when Chelios was a Blackhawk and Samuelsson was a Penguin?

But if the league are telling the refs to call games a certain way to make it more "exciting", they are duty bound to protect the Refs from criticism from players and coaches. And please don't tell me this doesn't happen, because it does. Remember a few years ago where the first few months of the season, teams that were down a goal kept getting spurious 5-on-3s to help them tie the game up? After a few months Babcock and a few other coaches got sick of it and started vocally complaining, The mysterious 5-on-3s stopped just as suddenly (without a word from the tame media I hasten to add).

That shift by Datsyuk against Phoenix in the playoffs where he had the puck on his stick for what seemed like 2 minutes. I can't find that exact shift, so heres some highlights of his dominance in that game
