The problem with womens hockey is that it is like watching 9 year old guys play. Very boring, no contact, slow pace of game..just a freakin joke.

They can win it all, but it is highly unlikely. Pathetic coach, bad defense. Not even close to Canada/Russia/Sweden.

He will if you adjust Gretzky's numbers to actually correspond with modern era hockey and not the ridiculous 80s with crappy goaltenders everywhere and no defense to speak of.

I never said they are, besides they are wingers and we do not have better players to fill top6 roles. Filppula is 3rd best center on the team and he isn't very good offensive player. At least Bertuzzi can score and Cleary creates some space.

How is Filppula a 2nd line player? He has yet to crack 50 points (edit: 40 points is his max), has very bad finishing ability and is not gifted offensively at all. He is great 3rd liner, but below average 2nd liner.

No. The Sharks line have awesome chemistry. Getzlaf and that ***** Perry are great together. Crosby can play with anyone. On defense, Chicago first pairing = proven chemistry, Pronger - Niedermayer = another well proven pair Canada has the best team only Russia is even a threat.

USA and Finland are not any better, Slovakia is a joke of a team. Hamrlik - too old, never great on national team Hejduk - called Ruzicka and told him his leg is not 100% ok As for playing for medals, iirc our team played like s*** last time around but then beat first-place Slovakia in quarterfinals and Russia for the bronze. Canada and USA did not even make the top4.

Well, I like that Ruzicka selected great PKers and defensive players over softies like Hudler. I like this team quite a lot.

Good roster? It is pretty bad roster imho. I mean if Kopecky makes the team you know that team sucks.

Leino is not good enough for a top6 spot and sucks defensively. He could use an extra year in AHL.
