Yeah, Mule is the ultimate streaky guy. He scores 5 goals in 3 games and then disappears for a couple of weeks.

Canes are not trading Staal. Kaberle is soft and old. Ruutu would be a great addition, but I doubt he is available.

Smith has looked pretty good, but I think he should remain in the AHL. Getting 3rd pairing minutes does nothing for him. He needs to be in the top4 or in the AHL imho.

Hudler Helm Abdelkader has been our second best line in the last few games. Thanks to Hudler, that line is semi-dangerous offensively. If you removed Hudler, it would make the line worse.

Stuart is solid defenseman, it would be good to have him for a few more years (as long as he does not want more money).

Cleary has 141 goals in 760 NHL games (100 goals in 431 games as a Red Wing), which makes him a poor goalscorer. He is not a good top6 player. Datsyuk deserves to play with better wingers. Simple as that.

Datsyuk has no wingers to play with. Cleary has very poor goalscoring ability and Homer is good only on PP. We could really use better wingers.

This is a joke. But what can you expect these days..you can get sued for anything. If this took place in the 50s, nobody would give a damn about the joke Moore is just a few weeks after he was beaten to a pulp.

He is 178 cm tall. That is maybe 5cm more than Hudler. And his style obviously does not work that well..Wings are his fifth club in last 5 years. Maybe Wings can make him play smarter and make something out of him in the end.

Not soft..just smart. White is not a big man suited for making big hits etc. But if he could become Lidstrom lite it would be amazing.

I'd give the third "A" to Stuart, he is a workhorse.

I highly doubt it. Ericsson is a soft giant. I can't believe he makes more than Kronwall.
