Chelios was much better than Modano. Modano is borderline HoFer imho, personally I would not put him in, but he will probably make it because he is one of the best American players ever.

IF the Wings advance.. Hawks know they are worse than Wings, it's in their heads - that is a pretty good advantage for the Wings Wings have better forwards, better defense and I think even better goalie. That series would not be close imho.

Hiller let in some softies but on the other hand he made numerous huge saves. Ducks are pretty good team, better than Hawks or Nucks imho.

McCarty is not good enough to play in the NHL anymore. He's not going to play imho.

I think it has something to do with his groin, that would also explain why he isn't skating with the team.
