Thanks, tough guy.
-
Yeah, you must be really really tough guy and I mean like VERY tough guy to call up Aaron Downey. Not everyone can do that. Too bad you don't run the team because I am sure you would build a VERY tough team consisting of true North Americans. And just FYI I hate Kopecky and I would take Downey over him any day. But you play a tough internet guy. wow. Beware of the Tough Internet Guys. They can beat you up

Filppula has the most Even Strength points after Z, D, Hossa

100% agree. -
Different era. Different accomplishments. You would have to adjust the numbers to get the proper picture. And whatever you get Sawchuk is much better than Osgood. And I mean MUCH.

1. Gordie Howe 2. Nicklas Lidstrom 3. Steve Yzerman 4. Ted Lindsay

lol yeah That's why Babcock does not play him on PP. What a stupid coach. Only if he read LGW. Filppula is bad offensively, he does not shoot and is not much of a playmaker. Definitely not worth 3 million a year so far. Hossa, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Franzen, Hudler and Cleary are all better imho. -
Sawchuk was the best goalie of his time. Osgood is average goalie. Period. Sawchuk simply dominated. Osgood has been good goalie, not the best, not even great. Sawchuk is so much better it's not even funny.
-
Not really. English speaking people are just unable to pronounce his name properly.
-
So what? Osgood has never been elite goalie. Never. Being good for long time does not guarantee HoF membership not to mention jersey retirement. He does not deserve either honour. And you can't be serious comparing Osgood to Sawchuk. It's not even funny.

And Filppula doesn't play against top lines. He is average offensively imho. -
How? For one thing he created room for them. Took most of the attention of the opponent himself. He was great playmaker, incredible sniper, awesome defensively and versatile. He could play defence without any problems. He wasn't down to earth guy but that does not belittle his game. He was simply dominant force out there. I like Pavel's attidue much better of course, but on the ice and in their primes it's no contest so far.
-
You choose Pav because you are biased. I like Pavel a lot more than I like Feds, but Pav is not even close to Sergei yet. Fedorov was so dominant it's not even funny. Complete beast. Pav has yet to dominate games the way Sergei did back in his heyday. Wrong, he made his teammates a lot better too. Just watch any highlights or any Cup run from the 90s.

Fedorov was better than Dats, no question about that.

but Cindy scores more points..he's da best, Garry told me!

..and he plays only 19 minutes a game. (Ovechkin - 23 min, Crosby and Malkin 22)
-
Green is atrocious defensively. He's not gonna win Norris until he gets a LOT better in his own zone. History proves defensive play is really important to win a Norris. I can't see Green winning it over Chara or Lids.
-
So how exactly did you determine that Dan has more heart and is working harder that Johan? Let me guess - he's Canadian, right?
-
Mule is much better imho.
-
I'd say he's decent 4th forward. I wouldn't call him a defenseman though.
-
s***. I hope that bum is gone asap.
-
Yet another great accomplishment by Sidney Crosby. Wondering when it's going to make NHL.com headlines
-
Hossa for sure, he is much better than Franzen. I'd keep Hossa and trade Filppula for picks.
-
Horton is way better than Filppula, there is no way you could get Horton for just Flip. MAYBE Flip+Lebda+pick for Horton. Would be awesome though.
