Good news I am very happy Leino is still with the team. Now if only Kopecky somehow disappeared everything would be dandy. -
Panicking? How the heck can anyone say this is panicking? Merely stating that Wings are not putting nearly enough effort into 90% of the games is not panicking. I think that if they keep playing this way we are gonna see another 1st round exit. There is nothing like playoff switch, they need to give their best game in and game out. They should be ashamed for those patethic performances through 50 or so games.

Not brothers..I think cousins is more like it, we definitely have good relationship with Slovaks, for example during this gas (!=petrol ) crysis in Europe, we provided them with some etc. Very few jokes, if any and I don't think Slovaks have some inferiority complex, but there is a sports rivalry (hockey, soccer..anything) of course

Czech and Slovak languages are very simillar. I can understand Slovak without any problems and all Slovaks I know have no problem understanding what I am saying in Czech. Polish is different though, I do not understand Polish at all. Only few words..most of them rude Hossa and Hudler definitely understand both Czech and Slovak language since they were living in the same country for quite some time

And yet another bad game by the Wings. I hope there will be changes before the playoffs start otherwise we don't stand a chance against the hungry teams.

So what would you want? Broad Street Bullies? You do relize the game has changed, rules are different, right? If you go to a hockey game to watch two goons fight then I am really sorry for you. Current Wings team is built for this era, not for 90s. So if you want to see some real North American toughness go watch NFL or simillar crap

This 5 game slump is nothing special and I am not worried about THAT. What I am worried about, though, is the 40+ consecutive games without effort. Wings must want to win on daily basis..there is no magic "playoffs" switch.

Kronwall sucks - bench him for couple a games Remove Kopecky, Maltby, Draper - all pathetic players I know this can't be done but why are Wings so loyal, too much is not always good. Draper contract is just brutal. 2 more years @ 1.5 .. omfg There are so much better guys waiting in GR. ******* Kopecky, Maltby and Draper.

Whole team sucks, apart from very few exceptions, they should be punished for their lack of effort. It's pathetic. Not just this 5 game loosing streak, they have been playing like crap from the start. Something needs to be changed. And please don't say regular season doesn't matter and that they will "turn it on" come playoffs.

Wings playing like s*** once again. It's sad. So much talent and so little effort. Conklin is the sole reason the game is tied at the moment.

And they won the Cup. Fortunately Kenny Holland, Steve Yzerman and co. do all they can to ice the best possible team witohut looking up their birthplace.

Oh my God, not this again. "Canadians are tough and Europeans are soft." Geez. It doesn't matter where were the players born. European players play just as hard as Canadians. I watch Wings because I love hockey and I am a Wings fan. I would watch them if there were no Europeans too. No difference to me.

I watch as many Wings games as I can despite the fact that I have to get up at 2AM and watch the game till 4:30 or so. I don't care if players are from Europe or America. I don't care about fighting either. And Boston roster? They are having a good year now, but they have done absolutely nothing in playoffs for like 35+ years. About the Europeans, if you are from USA what's the difference between Canadian and Swedish player? Neither is American.

He definitely deserves to be at least on the 4th line. He is MUCH better than Kopecky, Maltby and Draper.
