Really? So please tell me how can you keep Franzen, Hudler, Zetterberg, Samuelsson and get no.2 goalie without trading Filppula? I tried to make an optimistic prediction: Howard might be there instead of Larsson, but that doesn't help at all (only 100k) and please note that Franzen for 3.5, Hank for 6.7, Huds 2.25 and Sammy for 1.5 are all bargains.

Fedorov in his prime was better than Pav is now. That said, I'd take Pavel over Feds, but it's close.

No, he is not. Kenny and co. would never ever trade Nicklas Lidstrom. As for the original topic, I think Filppula will be traded if Franzen is signed.

Yeah, my mistake. Anyways, GAAs are correct, 2.21 for Conklin; 3.23 for Osgood Conklin stopped 568/616; Osgood 581/658. Still, Osgood is simply much worse than Conklin so far. btw I am not "panicking" or whatever some of you like to call it, but Osgood sucks atm.

Getzlaf is pretty good player, but I don't find him exciting at all.

Draper has been VERY bad so far. Kopecky sucks as usually, no surprise. The sooner he is gone the better. Maltby is somewhat the best player on the 4th line imho, and I'd keep him there.

Yeah, our defence had nothing to do with that, it was all Val Filppula is good defensively minded player, but he is not elite shutdown forward like Pavel or Hank so let's not overrate Flip. I'd love to see both of them as a Red Wings next year, but if I had to choose I'd pick Hudler because he's significantly better offensively.
