I would give a chance to Meech. He played very well for us last year in the playoffs. Lilja or Chelios..does not matter, Cheli is not the warrior from the last year and Lilja sucks anyways Chelios - Meech would be my choice for 3rd D pair.

Pens do not impress me at all. They beat very bad Ottawa team. And played 3 games with Rags.. game1..Pens were lucky and got lots of lucky bounces and goals, Rangers were better. game2..Rangers scored regular goal..no goal by the ref, Rangers were equal. game3..bad penalty taken by Hollweg..Pens win, Pens were better. I think Dallas is the most impressive team so far. -

Yeah, I agree Dom should retire. I'd love to see Stuart in a Red Wing uniform for years to come.. Cheli should retire too. Filppula is replacable, no more than 1.75 or bye bye.

Norstrom is old and past his prime. We don't need him. And Stuart is way better than Mattias Norstrom. If we can't keep Stuart, then our young defensemen (Meech, Ericsson, Quincey) should be given a chance.

I think Franzen is humble guy and he loves the city of Detroit and his teammates. I think he will be signed as soon as it's possible and will stay in Detroit.
