Richards is overpaid, he is not coming to Detroit for sure. Boyle would be good addition though. But I would like to get Antropov from the Leafs, he's big, can hit and score he would look great on our team.

I don't know, Kindl had outstanding last season, but is not playing so well this season, maybe he nees more time to get used to new league. Anyways, one or two games against weak teams can't hurt. If not him, then I really hope to see Ericsson playing few games this year.

No. But since we will be sure to go to playoffs, why not play him? If he played with Cheli, he would get so much experience, and yes, he would make mistakes, and he would learn from it. Even if his mistakes would cost us game or two, it would be worth it imho. Same with Ericsson though.

Good article, I think Kindl should be playing with Chelios to learn new stuff. Why not try him for few games.

Yes, they are getting used to puck dumping style, and it's good because they are forced to gain some muscle in order to be successful and they need to play physical hockey so they are getting prepared for the NHL, that all is good, but it is much better if they stay in Europe few more years to fully develop their hockey sense and skills, because they will not get better in these areas in North America. Of course that it's completly individual, and some players will do just fine, but most of them will not and if they don't make the team, they are disappointed and might never make it back. And compensation is ridiculous. This way Sweden, Russia and other countries loose many potentially good players. But I am not blaming the NHL, it's also their country's hockey clubs who are not giving enough chances to young players, but there are some promising projects going on (Juniors plays Slovaks 1st league etc.).

You cannot compare those two players. Foppa is world class player, Bertuzzi is p...y. And I am sure he would not come back to make money or embarass himself. He would be great addition to any team in the league. Why not sign him for playoffs? You just cannot do wrong if you sign him.

They (and Sweden) do not want to sign that contract with NHL because its totally unfair to them. They would get nothing in return for player they invested to at all. NHL team drafts player, sends him to minors and player is not getting better, should they stay in Russia (Sweden) they would be playing for A team and getting so much needed experience with big games. Of course that some great talents like Malkin, Ovechkin make it right away, but in general, going to North America too soon can only spoil the player and stop developing his skills. But players want to follow their dream..

I agree completly.. I agree, thats why I think we should give both Kindl and Ericsson chance to play few games to see how would they do. I hope Kenny is not gonna trade our best prospects for Blake. Wild will make playoffs, why would they trade him? Would be great addition though.
