I think it's because Osgood is done for the year (and likely career) and MacDonald would not be very good backup come playoff time. Not to mention Howard played like crap lately.

Does Modano actually fit in? He was not very good before the injury. Almost as bad as Hudler.

How can a guy like Milbury still be employed? Can he actually do anything noteworthy? All I see is that he spits BS all around on a regular basis.

Pierre is creepy at times. But on the other hand, he knows his stuff. He knows a lot about prospects. He has great connections. I honestly think he'd be one of the better GMs in the league.
