Opie, You’re right you can count on one hand the players from those days. What I should of said is once in the playoffs the regular season seems to go out the window. I would also like to see the rivalry return to what it used to be and a playoff matchup should do it. 95-96 the rivalry didn’t get started until the playoffs. I’m not convinced that Theodore is a playoff caliber goalie by their series against the Wild. I think the guy is a fluke (I hope I’m wrong) and his play is based on the fact he is at the end of his contract.

Red Wings.................. IMO The Wings seem to get stronger in the later rounds. Opie one thing to keep in mind is in 95-96 the Av's only beat the Wings once that year.
