McCarty landed some quality shots but McIver had ahold of Darren's jersey and swung him around like a rag doll. Most of McIver's punches were all air.

Hossa wants to hit free Agency so he won't sign an extention right away. He's a rental as of now.

1. He's not going anywhere 2. He needs at least another full year in the minors 3. It's not like the red Wings need him now and can't afford to let him get better at what he does.
