He should have had that but he hasn't played in a good while so I'm alright with it so long as it doesn't continue.

I'd take Lilja over Lebda. They both turn over the puck but Lilja can block shots and be pretty physical.

I wouldn't want Lapointe, say what you want but this team doesn't need an older player who isn't scoring.

Havlat would be nice but he is so injury prone and we have enough of that already.

I'd sooner have Hudler traded rather than Filpulla traded but I also don't think his value is very high right now. Doesn't sound like the Wings will be pulling many big moves in trades this year.

I'm disappointed in Hudler. All the time I have watched him he seemed like he had a good scoring touch but lately he has been invisible. Flip hasn't been scoring much aither but he at least gets in there to get chances. And Sammy just turns into a turnover machine in the offensive zone. This team is really missing Dan Cleary right now. I'm still not freaking out though, Flip and Hudler are young players and the team is slumping right now. We know they can play much better.

I'm perfectly comfortable with Howard backing up Ozzy next year and getting a solid amount of playing time. I think his time has come. He still has a little work to do on things like rebound control and closing his five hole on break aways. Otherwise he looked solid.

I don't think Lebda is as bad as all that. He is a career 3rd line defenseman and he's playing like I would expect one too. Sammy on the otherhand turns over the puck too much, gets too many shots blocked and doesn't use his size at ALL. People say that he is being payed for the role he plays but he is also on the point on the second PP. Turning the puck over and making bad passes is a bad thing to have on the PP.

I think the Wings will have to score a lot, which they can do, to overcome injuries on defense. It's hard to believe Lebda and Chelios make up our top line but I'm excited to see Ericsson, that guy is huge.
