Since I go to Michigan State, I'm slightly bias. He did score the winning goal in the NCAA championship. He's not the best with penalty shots, but he's a gritty player that will drive into the net and good physical presence.

If it was a big team like Wings vs Sabres, ESPN and many other networks would beg the NHL to sign with them instead of damn versus. Now they won't try as hard and ppl will still ***** about versus. Most of Canada hates Ottawa, and most of the US could careless about Anaheim so ppl will probably watch horse racing, nascar, golf, or any other sport istead of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Okay this would be absoulte crap. The Wings can't even sell out the arena for playoffs b/c tickets are so damn expensive. If the Wings increase price for the arena, they are asking for empty seats thus losing money. Michigan economy most ppl can't afford tix and if anything b/c we didn't make it to the finals they should keep prices the same or lower them. They need to fight against the additional tax

No, the Wings need to stay in Detroit, that is why they are called the Detroit Red Wings. Until the Pistons move to Detroit, I'm gonna call them Auburn Hills Pistons.

Everyone said Howard wasn't ready last year. I think its a good idea to play Howard and Ozzie. Howard is younger and will become a great goalie so the wings don't have to play soap opera of the goalies every year. Plus, Howard doesn't flop around and make snow angels like Hasek. Everyone in the world knows Hasek is going to flop down so shoot high, and tada a goal!

A bit unsportsmanlike, but thats the least of my worries. The refs all playoffs have been an embarassement to their profession and hope they realize they cost the Wings and a few other teams.

The wings outplayed the ducks in game 3,4,5 and the refs determined the win, and thats why I'm pissed. They were the reason we will lose the series.

The Wings have a lot more playoff experience, have been in this situation before, they know how they have disappointed the fans in the early exits in the previous playoff years, they have outplayed the Duckies, so I'm thinking the 5-0 win could be similar to tonight! GO WINGS!!!

My dad had a similar back surgery to his and its pretty painful and takes a while to recover. My dad gives him props to play. He's a big guy and if he wants to finish in Detroit let him. If he gets to 100%, we'll be thankful!

NO!!! He wanted more money so he left the Wings as did Shanny so NO, he doesn't deserve to be up in the Rafters. Stevie Y stayed here his whole career, amazing stats, future HOF, players that stay and contribute to our team are the ones that deserve being up there.
