... And it sucks for rivalries. We play these teams like 9 times a year and we don't even have any good rivalries going with any of them. I would prefer Chicago as unreal.

Yeah maybe his fan base would be a little hurt, but still take a look at us. Most of us love Babs and when we look OP comment he made guess what we look at. Not what he said but what he possibly could have meant and why he wouldn't have said it. How do you even dig a eight month old thread up like this? Koivu actually wasn't wrong because he said that they weren't favourites for the cup on paper but he was sure they were going to make the playoffs and from there on - blaaaaaaaaah. That's what happened. They still aren't favourites for the cup, although they may be higher in favouritsm than other teams, but they definately did make the playoffs and they should make a good cup run, only to (possibly) make the finals and get slammed by the Wings. Go Wings, go cup.

I will applaud them on not letting there playoff clinching get to their head. I know they should've won the game anyways but they are still worthy of an applause because we know how often the Wings stop playing to their potential and set their standard to the skill of the other team and they didn't do that yesterday. Okay, you DO know that he was born in Essex, Ontario... which is about a ten minutes from where I currently live. There is this thing called a source. I don't know where you got that he was born in Michigan. And there is absolutely no way he was a Wings fan.

Good stuff. It's because we are really going to win the cup this year. It's better when people think we are going to lose. I hate being the favourite.. and being a Wings fan means you are more likely a favourite than the underdog. Thats why I like the Lions Go Wings, go cup.
