I didn't realize that it had the yellow underneath it... They shouldn've done that. COMPLETELY ruins the look of the poster.., or maybe it just ruins the look of it online and in person it would look much better. Hopefully.

Good. I chose Boston for my weekend picks and I want Toronto to make the playoffs.

He hurt himself in PRACTICE? Please no... don't be serious.

Christer Rockstrom deserves maybe a tad bit of credit for referring to Andersson but that is just about it. If Rockstrom himself had turned the team into a championship winning team then there would be a lot more credit heading his way. That's like me saying "Wll you should take this player, but I'm leaving." You're gone, you deserve nothing. I give more credit to the people who listened to Rockstrom's advice than to Rockstrom himself. And I'm also pretty sure that every single time I watch a Wings game I go, "Damn, we have good scouts." And we're winning the cup this year with this team. Swede's energy runs out no quicker than other nationalities. Maybe they don't grow up dreaming of holding the Stanley cup, but I'm sure they want to win it just as bad as anybody else on the ice. We have 9 Canadians on this team, and 8 Swedes with the addition of Brad Stuart, and if Ozzy gets any playoff time. Also, Rockstrom really hasn't improved the Rangers, in comparison to Andersson who seems to have changed the Wings a lot. Why would we give him credit?

I wish.

I : A) Don't want a corporate name - Joe Louis Arena is a beautiful name. B) Don't think Kwame Kilpatrick is worthy of a penny off of the new building. C) Conclude that we keep the Joe. There is no point in a new building - although it would be insanely nice. We, as fans, get everything we need out of the Joe. The city of Detroit along with the owners may not but the Ilitch is rich enough as it is and the city shouldn't depend on this to improve. Kilpatrick, of course, would want stuff out of building a new arena so that is a reason right there NOT to do it. Let the man figure something out on his own for once. I prefer 'Joe Louis Arena' over every other name. When Tiger Stadium changed to Comerica Park I wasn't happy at all, and I'm sure a lot of you weren't either. Also, think of what they could do to the Joe with 1 mil. It wouldn't look anything like the new Islander's arena they're building, but it would still be awesome, and even more, it would still be Joe Louis Arena. Trust me though, I would want to see a new building just as much as all of you, ESPECIALLY if it was on the same street as Comerica Park/ Ford Field. I just don't think it's going to happen, and we already know Ilitch is going to renew the lease on the Joe after this year.. who knows how long that will be for.

Lions will in fact win the superbowl in the next eighty-five years.

Yeah for Saturday I forgot to highlight Washington vs Boston .. I don't know if i can do this here but i didn't feel like editing and being tempted to cheat so im doing saturday: washington @ boston

I usually just pick a seat at the beginning of the game and move around from there... not only at hockey games. It works at mostly every event (soccer games, football games, concerts), and i've never been moved back. there is usually always an empty seat and if you can't get two right beside each other for whoever your with then there will most likely be two really really close. no guarantees though.

Oh me too... I am trying to get tickets because: a) I love the Wings b) I want this poster and, c) 1 dollar ice cream sandwiches. Basically sums up my life.. I love the swedes. There is no point in my post by the way... unfortunately there is probably no possibility of me getting an extra poster.

This is interesting... You see, I have definately not seen as many all-star games as you have, and I also definately don't know a quarter of the things about it as you do, along with several other people. I can't really say it's boring compared to the other ones, because really, I don't know much about the other ones. But I can say that watching this all-star game has made me NOT want to watch another one. It was slow, and dull and some of the events were ridiculous. Especially the fastest skater. Like I said, I haven't seen that many... but it does not take a complete knowledge of the game to understand that it was fourteen times better the way they used to do it. Also, I agree, the break-away challenge should NOT have had a goalie, but have been replaced with some other object with holes...creating waaay more entertainment (as long as the players tried to spark it up), and the relay part was a snooze fest. In fact, I actually did have my eyes closed through most of this. I have seen other games before... but I really don't think this is the impression they want to set for people who have never seen one. PS. I love'd the mics in the helmet... I got some laughs out of that.

There is an article on the wings site about Lidstrom coming back soon, and D-Mac visiting the Joe to meet up with the players and all that good stuff (along with other less important things): http://redwings.nhl.com/team/app/?service=...rticleid=356202 I like how the reporter copied down Hasek's statement word for word - Hahaha.

I'm watching it now...good stuff so far. I'm sure I will stop halfway through but we'll see.

Florida, Toronto, Edmonton, St. Louis, Chicago, Ottawa (currently).. sometimes Dallas, NASHVILLE, and i just dont like the devils, are more boring to watch than Detroit. In fact the only team I find insanely amusing to watch is Washington.

Detroit wins three cups in the next nine years. Or at least three cups. If I had it my way it would be 6 cups.
-
That would probably be how they knew each other. But I am also most likely completely wrong. Downey seems like a good enough guy.
-
I may have... a bit. Once. Because of Burrows. Sorry. And as a side note, I do actually believe in that as well.
-
I'm sure we'll get some good stuff out of him, no matter what it is. He may not bring some scoring but we know he will definately play for it... and he will be physical. Our Wings are starting to be physical again, and I love it.
-
Good boy. Although, even if he didn't want to play in Detroit it's not like he would admit it to the media.
-
I have always loved Raffi, even when he was on the Devils, but this game just made me respect him that much more. When his 'fight' began I was actaully kind of nervous, like "what's he doing.." but he completely proved me wrong when he took him down. Not to mention his goal was the best goal the Wings have scored since the beginning of February. Unbelievable.
-
It'd be cool if it just said Detroit eh. Somebody photoshop that. Do like a straight print, and another curved. If you have the time and/or want to. I really don't care, but am kind of curious what it would look like.
-
Lol, the best line was Larry Murphy after Lilja kicked away St. Louis players stick, "Oh with four officials on the ice the players can barely get away with anything anymore." And then Mickey goes, "Yeah, that's right Larry... except for a team scoring after the puck hits the netting!" Or something like that. Whatever it was good. Anways, St. Lose sucks, and we win. 2 and 0 for the month of March...keep it up boys.
-
I just thought I would point out that I have FSN Detroit, and it works perfectly, and that I am a huge ******* for bringing that up. Thank you.

Going to stick with exhibit A .. The others make it look like there is too much going on on the sweater. Orrr, if you raised the one stripe at the waist so you could see a bit of red underneath it.
