No, I'm with you on that one. I can't stand the Leafs sucking. It creates no chirping opportunities... at all. Actaully, there are so many chirping opportunities that it is no longer amusing. I want them to make playoffs though, and I think they can although they are going to have to work there asses off... If they lose today against Jersey then I am going to say that they are done. Especially if Buffalo beats the Flyers and Boston beats the Panthers.

Seriously guys, come on. I know the Leafs chance is almost nil. But three wins for one team, and three losses for another is not a hard thing to accomplish. Of course, it is not just the Flyers who have to lose but also the Caps, the Sabres and the Isles. Which, as was pointed out earlier, is nearly impossible. So the Leafs do actually have the slightest chance. A lot of things can happen in a month, that you would never expect. For example: Detroit going through a 2-10 slump? I thought I would say that even though I am almost guaranteeing for the Leafs to not make the playoffs. Canadian media is really disappointing when this is the kind of stuff they begin to write about. It's so good to be a Wings fan.

Wow, forget that your photoshop skills diminish after 3 am. I love this. Kind of retro/vintage look, and IMO the laces make it look sick. It still keeps the simple Red Wings look, and it looks awesome. If something that looked similar to this came out I would buy it instantly.

You play each team in the league at least once. I think it's you meet each team in your division six times, each team in your conference four times, and each team in the league at least once. And that leaves like a couple left over games they just mess around with.

Lol, I have been with you all along. Our goaltending is good, but we have at least 10 more shots than the opposing team on almost any given day. If pad sizes were reduced, our awesome defence + unreal offense could potentially blow out other teams. So I trust that Ozzy and Hasek could adapt to this, whereas other goalies (such as Giguere) would need to learn some actual goaltending techniques.

I'm from Canada and I love March Madness. It completes my March. Screw March break... it takes me away from my television creating a huge conflict between my spare time, and my college basketball. Although, I am from Windsor which happens to be the closest city to Detroit, which is a HUGE basketball city... and like 90% of my family went to university in the states because the sports there are ridiculous (good). So yeah, I love the Pistons as well (to back you up) and go Spaaaaaaaaaartans.

I think we have a better team this year, although I feel our offense has remained the same, and our defense (like you said) is better this year, and then physically we have definately improved. It really depends on how much ice time they give Downey and if Mccarty comes back fit. I heard he got his ass kicked with GR.

No don't say that. Even if you think it, just don't say it. We are winning this year. Anyways, we all know Luongo is not enough for the Canucks to win any series, especially against us. The Avs on the other hand would be an interesting matchup. I'm actually thrilled to be playing them but like somebody earlier said... I would rather just see the playoffs take there course and have us win. And Ozzy and Hasek are actually a bit inconsistent. Of course they are playing behind no defense and really don't have a choice but to be inconsistent. Regardless, they are still first and second in GAA, tied at 2.10, even through this slump. Have faith in them. They'll pull through. Especially because they are both experienced playoff goaltenders.

Um no, the tradition is to throw several during the playoffs... Having like TWO thrown on during a regular season game isn't bad... If there was more than that though I could kind of be upset too. I read somewhere that the people who throw them onto the ice ask the people around them to stand up and be big or something like that... that way when you go to throw it it'll be harder to identify the actual person who did it. I really don't think they care though. Al Sobotka clearly loves it. You'd have to have a pole up your ass to kick someone out over that.

When Lidstrom first got injured I read something about this... In the argument they were arguing about the same thing, if Lidstrom could still win Norris... Somebody brought up that Pronger had missed several games, or weeks (or whatever) the year that he had won Norris So no, this will not affect Lidstrom's chances of winning the Norris. He is still the best defensmen in the league, and he until he retires he will still be the smartest defensmen in the league.

Okay well I play soccer so I am accustomed to goalies come out at you... It;s funny because I used to complain that hockey goalies never did it and I alwaaays thought that if goalies came out at you in hockey it would take away scoring chances... Here we are, Hasek has done it several times and hasn't been scored on. Perfect move. And so it should be called 'the Hasek.' What a smart little kid haha.

Okay, which would mean no Anaheim/Colorado/San Jose. That would mean no team to destroy...Where is the fun in that? Nah Kronwall has always been one of the better defensmen on this team. Although, in his return he seems to be playing slightly better than he did before he got injured. That could be just me though.
