Lol.. I really don't think we have anything to lose by saying shut-out... Not saying it, on the other hand, hasn't been working... Frankly, I agree with the Mule.. And I think the Wings have too much experience to just die out because of last night. They should be pissed because last night was BS.

That was definately a high-stick... should've been no goal. Either way Wings played garbage tonight and tomorrow we're gonna be tired... gotta be able to fight it out because San Jose is not gonna be good about it. I'm f***in pissed.

I would very much enjoy a win by a large margin tonight. Detroit... surprise me and play some defense. Even though the Kings weren't an elite opponent, we did keep the shots on goal low (only 19) which is a big step. Now all we gotta do is keep it like that, keeping in mind 19 shots should not be enough for 3 GA. I wanna see Lidstrom with a goal tonight because he's the man.

Big game... I'm starting to get used to these online streams - and I'm actually beginning to enjoy them too. Wings will bring this one home. Big game for the goaltender and that is as far as I will go.

Last year wasn't a spectacular beginning either. Sure we're not playing up to Red Wings standard you like Babcock said you have to WORK hard to be rewarded and they just haven't been working hard yet.

A win is a win... you gotta take em as they come but that was not a pretty one. Pav needs to step up... I know he's not playing horrible (stalling the puck on the PK) but he's not playing like Pav and this goes for Lidstrom too. While Nick is having his moments he's also having some terribly uncharacteristic ones... I just hope it's not a a sign of aging. Props go to Conklin who played an outsanding game... I think he put too much effort into the game to have that third goal go in, but what can you do. Let's see if Friday we can smash the Thrashers by keeping their score nice and low... after all, they battered us at home last year and we want revenge.

We will win tonight. Defense will tighten up. Keep in mind last year at this point we were letting a lot of goals in as well.

Defense or goalie... still way to many goals. Either way though, I'm sure we'll adjust as the season progresses. I really think that was the last game that our D was going to look like that.

Man, here I was about to say we win 27 seconds into OT.. it took 23.. Either way, sweet win, Hossa finally got the first goal out of his way so now he can go on his insane scoring spree and I can actually have a good sleep tonight. Also, Toronto sucks.
